About the Position

Main-Land Development Consultants, Inc. of Livermore Falls, Falmouth, and Newport, a Maine Best Places to Work company, is seeking a Maine Professional Licensed Surveyor to join our growing team at our Newport branch office. We are looking for self-motivated individuals ready to learn with a desire to lead and manage land surveying projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of a variety of survey projects, such as residential boundary and site/civil development. Daily work will include project management, proposal/project planning, deed research, calculations, general project oversight, and could also include solo or crew field work if needed.

Preferred Certifications and skills

  • Maine Professional Land Surveyor Registration
  • Progressive land survey experience working in the field, on deed research, and office calculations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a survey related degree program or a combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Carlson Software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Survey data collection software, Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools is preferred.
  • Project management experience is preferred but not required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Desire for advancement and humility to learn leadership principles
